We’ve been waiting a long time for Hunter Hayes‘s new album — and that’s okay, because we know the songs are going to be amazing.
We know three that will already be on the record — “Amen”, “Yesterday’s Song”, and “Young Blood” — and now there’s another that Hunter spilled, called “Tell Me”.
Speaking with NKD mag, the song is described as “the oddball of the record, because lyrically it is the farthest from where he is personally.”
“That’s a song I’ve never let myself sing,” Hunter says. “It’s kind of like going into therapy and talking about something you’ve never really talked about and never realized was an issue.”
The mag goes on to say that “Tell Me” is reminiscent of his biggest record to date, “Wanted” — yep, we know we’re going to love it already.
