Brooklyn & Bailey have issued a major challenge for all their fans about their debut single, “Dance With Me”!
The twin singers are challenging all their fans to put out a fun Musical.ly with their new song. Have fun with it, do crazy things, and you may even get a shout out!
“‘Dance Like Me’ was created around the idea that dance is often a type of universal language and has the ability to bring different types of people together,” Brooklyn and Bailey told JJJ about the track.
They added, “It’s hard to be in a room with a good beat, regardless of age, gender, race, etc.. and not tap a toe or nod your head. People stop focusing on the differences in the room and start focusing on the music.”
Tune into Brooklyn and Bailey‘s live.ly event, starting at 4:15 PM ET/ 1:15 PT and will be chatting all about their new song, which you can buy right now!
The twin sisters exclusively spoke to JJJ, as part of our Discovered series, about their foray into music and all about their song.
“We have both loved singing since we were young and are excited by the idea of sharing our love for music with everyone,” the girls shared.
When talking about their first single, Brooklyn and Bailey both were really excited about the meaning behind it.
“It’s especially important for teens today to hear and take this message to heart as we battle high school cliques, teenage stereotypes, racial tensions, and bullying. ‘Dance Like Me’ is about forgetting social pressures or what box you fit in, and instead focusing on just having fun being you.
“The lyrics tell people ‘this is right where you belong, doesn’t matter where you come from’ and insists that people come ‘Dance Like Me’.”
Brooklyn and Bailey said, “We could not be more excited for this amazing opportunity to try something new, and we can’t thank everyone enough for supporting us in doing this.”
