We’ve got Riverdale finale scoop right here!
While we’re still a couple episodes away from the end of season one, rest assured – things are about to change in our favorite little town.
“I can tell you that the finale that we shot is not the finale that we started in mind,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told EW. “It has probably three or four giant set pieces for us. If Jason Blossom’s death changed Riverdale in a fundamental way, what happens at the end of the season yet again fundamentally changes what kind of town Riverdale is again, and it’s probably not going to be for the better. And that’s what I’ll say about that.”
Riverdale airs Thursdays @ 9PM on The CW.
Fans have been buzzing about Jughead and Betty’s relationship on Riverdale, and it looks like they want it IRL as well!
Cole Sprouse photographed his co-star Lili Reinhart, and fans definitely reacted.
Cole‘s photographs, in general, are stunning and so important to him.
This one features Lili donning a flower crown, perched in a field of sunflowers, and he captioned the shot with a number of flower emojis (pretty much all of them.)
Fans are flipping!
“This makes me happy… DATE HER PLEASE,” user @cloiipapa commented on his Instagram.
“BUGHEAD” user @amymcmullenx shipped them using their character names, while @hayleyhoran12 requested, “Date already!”
Okay, we admit it, we totally ship them, too.

JJJ was so excited when we heard that Riverdale would be coming back for a second season…but now, we’re wondering what will happen, since Jason Blossom’s killer will be revealed.
Turns out, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa already has a big idea.
“There’s a chance that happens,” he told EW about bringing his Afterlife with Archie comic to the next season. The story has Sabrina the Teenage Witch bring Jughead’s dog back from the dead, and in turn, starts a wild and crazy zombie outbreak that overtook Riverdale.
That’s not totally out of the box. He did say there was a possibility to bring Sabrina to the show…we just didn’t imagine that it could be that way.
“There definitely will be a big genre element to Season 2,” he added. “It won’t suddenly just be a coming-of-age drama. There will definitely be a very strong, bold genre statement.”
TELL JJJ: What are you hoping to see in season 2 of Riverdale?
It’s another week without Riverdale, and we don’t know about you, but we’re having withdrawals!
But thankfully, we have a new bit of spoilers and storyline to get us through it.
The big question here: Did Jughead’s dad actually kill Jason Blossom?
“It absolutely does seem like FP was intimately involved with at least one or both of those things,” EP Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared with EW, but he fails to say yes or no.
However, it looks like FP (played by Skeet Ulrich) will be sticking around.
“Moving forward, Jughead and his dad’s relationship becomes one of the bedrocks of the season,” he adds. “There are definitely twists and turns to it, but he’s very much in the hot seat from this point moving forward, because people are going to start discovering a lot of things FP has done that he thought were never going to see the light of day.”
Cole Sprouse added about Jughead’s relationship with FP: “You get to see where a lot of the damage Jughead sort of hides with his comedy, comes from — it comes from his father figure.”
He also said that whoever cast the two as father and son was on point: “He and I are two peas in a pod. It’s insane casting. They really nailed it!”
Chloe Moretz has been immersing herself in the world of Archie and friends!
The 5th Wave actress took to Twitter on Monday night (March 20) to share her thoughts about the CW series Riverdale.

Ashleigh Murray is opening up about her days as a struggling actress.
The Riverdale talent recently revealed that she was completely broke before booking her role as Josie on the show.
“I was $4,700 behind in rent. I lived in New York City, so it was a lot of money. And I was just about to take a break from acting for about six months, until I could get myself back on my feet financially, and then hit the ground running,” Ashleigh told Collider.com. “This was my last audition. So, I went on the audition, and the next day, I was on my way home from the grocery store with $12 in my bank account. I had to call my mom and ask her for an extra $5 because the last of it went to food at Whole Foods, just so that I could get home.”
Ashleigh also said, “This was my first big audition for pilot season, and I was so broke. I didn’t have money to do my laundry, so I was washing my clothes in my bathroom sink. And then, I ran up the street and begged the guy at the laundry mat that I go to, all the time, to please let me dry my clothes there because I had a big audition the next morning. So, he let me dry my clothes for free. I stayed up all night, printing out resumes and headshots.”
